The name Steel-O-Flex stands for cable locks with high flexibility and double security at ABUS.
The steel cable is surrounded by overlapping sleeves of hardened steel like a scale armour. This significantly increases the resistance to break-in attempts, while the weight only increases moderately and the flexibility is largely maintained. The latter also allows uncomplicated connection of the vehicle to a fixed object.
