Madame de Pompadour is synonymous with buoyant verve and intelligence, she excelled at getting things done and had a good eye for Rococo interiors as well as its architecture. She planned buildings such as the Place de la Concorde and the Petit Trianon. She was friends with Dom Perignon and was so fascinated by his newly invented "bubbly bubbly wine" that she became the biggest promoter of champagne at the French court. Legend has it that the "coupe de champagne" (French champagne glass) was modelled after her bosom. Now, eras later, ASSOS is paying homage to Marquise Pompadour with the iJ.pompaDour and dedicating our new winter collection to her. THE CONSTRUCTION
The iJ.pompaDour is not based on the platform of the umaJack. It was modelled on its male counterpart, the iJ.bonKa. ASSOS winter jackets represent ASSOS core competence at its finest: ASSOS stands for exclusive avant-garde manufacturing in combination with the sophisticated ASSOS cut design, a close-fitting, pre-shaped, anatomical cut. All these components guarantee you a perfect fit and reliable temperature equalisation in cold, wintry conditions. ASSOS protects and warms your body like a second skin without suffocating it!

The iJ.pompaDour consists of 30 parts, 10 different textiles and 12 components. ASSOS technology twinDeckFoiling: the front chest section consists of a 2-layer construction, a combination of stratagonUltra Airblock textile on the outside and a layer of RXQ on the inside. Why? More effective thermal protection that hugs your body perfectly.

In the inner collar area, the iJ.pompaDour has an additional, ergonomically pre-shaped stand-up collar that ensures that the chest and neck are optimally enclosed at all times. At the back, the iJ.pompaDour has our beautifully warm, soft ASSOSRX- textile for improved ventilation, so that your body can "breathe" and an excess of heat and moisture can be quickly transported to the outside.

In the back area, we have equipped the iJ.pompaDour with our ASSOS Stabilizer- technology (ASSOS patent), so that a perfect fit is guaranteed at all times and a vertical expansion of the jacket is prevented.
