But to do that, the bike has to be running - the dynamo has to supply power.Not true any more! Now there is a power supply unit that replaces the dynamo as a power source in the showroom (or in the shop window). So if there is a socket nearby - simply disconnect the cable from the dynamo, connect it to the power supply unit - and the bike light shines wonderfully when stationary.
