KÉO STANDARD

The Kéo Standard has been designed to save weight and space in the cleat-pedal combination, while remaining compatible with all shoes on the market. Pedal entry and exit offer great safety and efficiency.

ADJUSTING THE Q-FACTOR

Thanks to its 14mm thread, the new LOOK axle allows an adjustment of the Q-factor of 2mm using a specific intermediate washer, available as a single part. A change from 53 to 55mm is thus made possible.

CHROMOLY AXLE LINE FOR OPTIMAL RELIABILITY

An oversize axle made of steel is used for the axle line of the Kéo Classic 3. It consists of a mini ball bearing (12mm inside x 18mm outside) and a needle bearing. A new spacer has been positioned so that the bearing and needle are firmly seated. In this way, friction is reduced to a minimum and rotations become smoother. Thanks to a new control mechanism when pressing the axle line into the body, our pedals are absolutely reliable. LOOK axles are only released after a rotation test of 2 million cycles at 100 rpm with a load of 90 kg on the centre of the pedal and an eccentric rotation (one bump at each revolution). This test goes far beyond the current EN14781 standard.
