When it comes to children's helmets, different safety considerations apply than for adults. For this reason, we have taken special care to develop a children's helmet that has no interior contact points with the fontanel, the softest part of a developing head. MET Elfo and Genio helmets are shaped so that children can sit up straight while strapped into a bicycle seat. The insect protection mesh built into the MET Elfo and Genio ensures that insects and other small parts stay where they belong - outside the helmet.
