The Cinturato Velo is the new tubeless clincher tire from Pirelli that is designed for protection and comfort without compromising on performance.

KEY FEATURES:

The reliability of the SmartNET Silica technology combined with the tubeless-ready comfort and the durability of the new Armor Tech technology brings a new generation of folding tires out. This has a unique DNA with the perfect performance for long distances and different terrains.

Armor Tech ™ construction (patent pending) combines different components, in the order from the inside out, that the 60 TPI nylon - Add the housing underneath:

• High-density nylon layer from bead to bead, which protects against cuts and improves stability. At low pressure and these help to make the carcass airtight when used with liquid sealant.
• High-density corrugated belt made of aramid fibers under the tread, which offers protection against piercing and sharp foreign objects.
• Aramid fibers in the tread rubber compound (SmartNET ™ Silica) are divided into two layers:
  • an outer (cap) that guarantees performance (dry and wet, mileage, contact feeling),
  < li>an inner (base) that, thanks to a higher number of these fibers, slows down the penetration of foreign bodies into the layers below
