Mixture - SmartEVO

The new SmartEVO mixture uses a blend of three different polymers, each of which contributes its own specific properties and characteristics while guaranteeing a perfect balance of what should be opposing properties: the goal for every rubber engineer. To complete this project, Pirelli used its extraordinary experience gained in over 100 years of motorsport and the enormous know-how gained in cycling. Our in-depth knowledge and chemical know-how have enabled Pirelli's material engineers and chemists to use this ternary polymer compound in such an advanced way as to ensure the "intelligent" behaviour that characterises the outstanding properties of the SmartEVO compound. Perfect grip, wet or dry, coupled with low rolling resistance.
