The Big Apple started the trend towards balloon bikes ten years ago: comfortable cycling without any complicated technology! The air cushion of the tyres is used as natural suspension. With approx. 2 bar, a Balloonbike rolls wonderfully lightly and with full suspension effect. A normal tyre with a width of 37 mm has to be inflated hard as nails with 4 bar to roll similarly well.
