TRP Spyre brake

The Spyre Mechanical disc brake brings both the highest quality standards and a high level of innovation. As with a hydraulic brake, both pads are activated and ensure precisely dosed braking force and even wear of the pads. A simple adjusting screw is all that is needed to adjust or readjust the pads without tools. The compact dimensions (only 40mm wide), the low weight and the compatibility with all common mechanical road brake levers on the market round off the Spyre.

• Brake pistons: 2 (activation on both sides)
• Compatible with all common mechanical road brake levers (use of compression-free sleeves, e.g. from Jagwire is recommended)
• Incl. powerful, semi-metallic TRP pads (optimal performance in dry conditions, faster wear in wet and dirty conditions)
• Also compatible Shimano M525/515 pads
• Brake disc: 140mm or 160mm (front 160mm recommended)
• Discs and adapters available separately
• Weight (according to manufacturer's specification): 154 g each

Please note: All flat mount brakes require the TRP F-5 140/160 Front Flat Mount adapter to mount on the fork.
