JAM² 8.7 Features
Conquers new mountains
Thanks to the Bosch Performance Line CX drive system, you can ride even more trails in the same amount of time. The powerful drive unit supports you with up to 85 Nm of torque and ensures fun even uphill. Even if the motor gives you full backing, your JAM² 8.7 can still be controlled playfully, even on the most challenging trail passages. The Slide-Out battery with 625 Wh can be charged via the integrated charging socket on the seat tube of the E-MTB. Alternatively, you can also remove the battery easily and quickly without needing any tools. Simply unlock the cover buckle and flip it to the side to pull out the battery by the tab. The JAM² 8.7 is equipped with the Bosch System Controller and wireless Mini Remote.
The carbon frame with aluminum rear triangle makes the JAM² 8.7 light and agile. The motor and battery are perfectly integrated into the frame. This is how the JAM² 8.7 gets its sleek look. In addition, the battery is placed as low as possible in the down tube. This frame design optimizes the bike's center of gravity, making it much more stable on descents. The balanced and super agile geometry further contributes to the stability of the JAM² 8.7. The relevant bike parameters have been carefully evaluated so that they perfectly fit the intended use of the bike and guarantee fun on all trails. The low standover height ensures that you can also perfectly master technical terrain with your bike. By adjusting the headset cups, you can adjust the steering angle of your JAM² 8.7 individually according to your riding preferences from 65.5° to 64.5°.
When optimizing our F.O.L.D. (FOCUS Optimised Linkage Design) technology for our JAM² 8.7, it was extremely important to create responsive kinematics and suspension for absolute control - whether you're riding a technical or flow trail, up or down. The wide and grippy 29" tires improve traction on any type of surface, while you can always rely on strong brakes. Thanks to the good dosing of the brakes you can reduce your speed precisely and with high reliability.
